Jr. Teen

Since being crowned Jr. Teen Earth, I have led the Pledge of Allegiance at a community event, participated in community cleanups, volunteered at the VFW, made numerous appearances, and led by example. The title can benefit others wanting to compete because it’s not what your title can do for you, but what you can do with your title. When you have a local, state/country, national/international title, you must lead by example and make your reign what you want it to be. When your year is up, others should have big shoes to feel and feel like you are their role model so while having a title can provide opportunities to you, it really is what you make out of it.  Bianca Villalobos is the 13-year-old daughter of Jaime & Tina of Lakeside, CA. She was crowned Jr. Teen Earth in May 2022 where she also captured Best Eco interview, Outfit of Choice, Talent, Best Q&A, and more! Once crowned, she hit the ground running to make our community a better environment for everyone. Bianca continued her volunteering efforts since being crowned by collecting recycled eyeglasses for the Lions Club, donating to her local blessing boxes, and supporting her local military since her father, Jaime, is on active duty and her mom, Tina, is a veteran. As Jr. Teen Earth, Bianca also focuses on community clean-ups, spreading awareness, and educating others on ways to make small changes in their daily routines that have a lasting impact on our environment for generations to come. She takes to social media to share facts on recycling, reducing waste, and sustainability. Bianca is also an Ocean Warrior Ambassador where you can find her cleaning her local beaches to prevent trash from going into the oceans and harming marine life.Bianca also lives with Type 1 Diabetes (T1D) and serves as an ambassador to help connect others living with T1D so they know they are not alone and have a network of support nation-wide. Because of her diagnosis in 2012, one day Bianca wants to become a doctor to help others live a better and healthier life and be diagnosed sooner if they have a medical condition. She was recently on Good Morning America as an "inspiring story" and hosts several fundraising walks in her community. Bianca was also awarded the Youth Award at the Red Cross Real Heroes banquet for all her volunteering efforts over the year. Bianca enjoys dance, art, reading, and swimming. She hopes her year as Jr. Teen Earth can be the spark for others to do better and be better for our planet. All it takes is one person leading the way inspiring a movement of positive change.
