Mrs. Earth Pageant - The Pageant

THE COMPETITION will be held on Nov 24th 2011, in Negril Jamaica. The entire pageant week will be filmed for broadcast. Delegates will be chosen at random by the production team for filmed interviews during pageant week. Each contestant will compete in the following four (4) categories, all categories bearing equal weight: Personal Interview, Fitness Wear Presentation, Evening Gown and Fashion Modeling. The judges will be looking for the all-around woman who is ready and willing to promote not only the Mrs. & Ms. Earth organization but also the importance of service within her community. She may not be the most outstanding in every category but she will score highly in all four categories and will be the woman that the distinguished panel of judges feel is the best woman for the job of Mrs. Earth or Ms. Earth. There is no set physical profile of a woman who enters our pageant. We appreciate the fact that real women come in all different shape, colors, ages and sizes! There is also no professional modeling, pageantry or acting experience necessary. Participants are stay-at-home moms, mortgage brokers, doctors, teachers and more. They come to fulfill personal goals. There is no talent competition and no experience is necessary PAGEANT SCORING: Personal Interview: (worth 25% of total score) A TEN (10) minute panel-style personal interview with our judges. Your are judged on poise, personality, intelligence and beauty. Fitness Presentation: (worth 25% of total score) You will be judged on overall health, fitness, poise and confidence on stage. Contestants will wear a one-piece swimsuit. Evening Gown Presentation: (worth 25% of total score) Floor Length gowns only. You are judged on gracefulness, style, confidence and poise. Fashion Wear Presentation: (worth 25% of total score) A high-fashion yet tasteful outfit. You are judged on personality, stage presence, modeling skills, and confidence. Your outfit should NOT be "off-the-rack." Think more along the lines of New York Fashion Week, Paris Fashion Week or Project Runway! SPONSOR FEES: If selected as an official delegate, the cost for participation is $695.00 USD. The entry fee includes all areas of the competition and is the *Best Value* for an international pageant experience! All delegates must pay the initial non- refundable $150.00 USD processing fee within 10 days of being selected as an official delegate. If your deposit is not received during this time, the state title will be offered to the next available applicant. Once 100% of the entry fee is received, a crown & banner will be ordered from the manufacture and will be sent to the delegate via US postal mail. Please be advised that there is a four week wait on these this items once the manufacture order has been placed. Fees may be obtained from a single sponsor, group of sponsors, family, friends or self-funded. The contestant may pay the remaining entry fee balance in smaller payments however the balance must be paid in full no later than October 21, 2011 and a payment must be received at least once every 30 days or your title choice may be lost. The initial processing fee of $150 will be applied to the total Delegate entry fee. The 1st choice title is not reserved until full Delegate entry fees are met. 100% of all Delegate entry fees are absolutely non-transferable and non- refundable! Sponsor fees are used to secure event location space, judges expenses, production costs, administrative expenses, advertising expenses, and other pageant related expenses. We reserve the right change the production concept, dates and/ or venue, ect, for any reason. Your $695.00 sponsor fee includes: - Official Delegate Handbook - Official Embroidered Title Sash - Official Crown - Mrs./Ms. Earth® Custom Crown Pin - Some Meals during pageant weekend - Some Entertainment & Excursions in Boston, MA - 20% discount Pageant U Notebook - (1) 1/2 Page B&W Ad in the Program book - (1) Official Mrs./Ms. Earth® Rhinestone T-shirt - (1) Complimentary Ticket to Finals - (1) Complimentary Program Book - (1) Tote bag - Contestant Gifts & Special Surprises While At The Mrs./Ms. Earth® Pageant In addition to the $695.00 sponsor fee you are responsible for: - Your travel arrangements & costs to/from the Mrs. Earth® / Ms. Earth® Pageant in Las Vegas, NV - Your competition wardrobe / weekly clothing and accessories - Opening Number Outfit - (Black cocktail dress) - Hair & Makeup - Hotel Accommodations - Some Meals - Spending money and any incidentals while at the pageant - Additional tickets to events - Additional t-shirts - Additional tote bags RULES AND REGULATIONS Mrs. Earth® - Entrant must be a legally married adult women. - Entrant must be at least 21 years old by the International Pageant. - Entrant must be of good moral character. - Entrant must meet the citizenship requirements set forth by the Mrs. Earth Pageant. - Entrant agrees that the decisions of the judges are final. - The entrant agrees to attend next year's Mrs. Earth Pageant if selected the International winner, to crown her successor. - She further agrees to abide by all the required services, rules and regulations governing this pageant. - The term “entrant" is defined as a naturally born female meeting criteria outlined in the rules and regulations. Ms. Earth® - Entrant must be a single adult women. Single women, Single mother, Divorced or Widowed. - Entrant must be at least 26 years old by the International Pageant. - Entrant must be of good moral character. - Entrant must meet the citizenship requirements set forth by the Ms. Earth Pageant. - Entrant agrees that the decisions of the judges are final. - The entrant agrees to attend next year's Ms. Earth Pageant if selected the International winner, to crown her successor. - She further agrees to abide by all the required services, rules and regulations governing this pageant. - The term “entrant" is defined as a naturally born female meeting criteria outlined in the rules and regulations.
